Euracli has developed a technique for trapping scents
inside seal-tight 4-8-µm microcapsules
that are applied to a substrate during the printing process.
When the substrate is rubbed, the perfume is released
with all of its subtle notes.
The compounds used in the perfume microcapsules
are formulated on :
- the perfume composition provided by the perfumer,
- fragrances created with compounding partners,
- scents from Euracli’s Aroma Library.
Printing tests are carried out on paper to verify that the microcapsules release all the perfume notes
and to choose the right strength.
Once the olfactory “proof” has been agreed upon, Euracli enters the formula production phase.
For the printing phase, the microcapsules are incorporated into a binder or a varnish.
The documents are printed based on the decisions made during the test phase.
